Commitment to Data Privacy Protection

This Privacy Policy discloses how we gather, use, share and protect information collected about visitors to the Green eMotion website and any other URLs and websites administered by Green eMotion Inc. and its Affiliates (as defined below) (collectively, the “Website”). By visiting the Website, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Green eMotion encourages you to read this Privacy Policy carefully.  The terms “Green eMotion,” “we” or “us” as used herein refer to Green eMotion Inc. and its Affiliates.  The terms "you" and "user" as used herein refer to all individuals and/or entities accessing the Website for any reason.

What Information Does Green eMotion Collect?

Green eMotion collects two types of information: (1) “Communication Information,” which is personally identifying information you voluntarily provide, such as contact information, emails or letters; and (2) “Visitor Information,” which is information that is automatically collected as you visit and browse the Website (collectively, your “Information”). 

  • Communication Information
    If you communicate directly with Green eMotion by phone, email or postal mail, Green eMotion may collect, store and use any information it collects for its own business purposes.  Additionally, Green eMotion may periodically conduct surveys, usability studies and other programs that help Green eMotion improve and promote its products and services.  Visitors to the Website may voluntarily participate in these programs and, as a condition of such participation, they may be asked to provide additional information, which shall be deemed Communication Information.

    Green eMotion may use this “Communication Information” to respond to your requests, issues or inquiries or to improve the Website, Green eMotion services or product offerings.  Communication Information may also be used to distribute information to you about Green eMotion, its products or other promotional or information communications from Green eMotion or Green eMotion business partners.
  • Visitor Information
    Green eMotion’s website server automatically records “Visitor Information,” based on your activity on the Website, through the use of “IP addresses” (as described below) or ”Cookies” (as described below) or other industry-standard techniques, such as domain names or web beacons.

    Green eMotion may use Visitor Information, including user behavior, user experience, user equipment and the computing and Internet environment, to improve the performance of the Website. An IP address is a number automatically assigned to a computer when a user uses the Internet and is often associated with the place from which the user enters the Internet such as the Internet service provider.  Standing alone, an IP address is not necessarily personally identifiable.

    Cookies are data that a website transmits to a computer's hard drive through the browser to enable the website to recognize the browser, record and store a user’s information and occasionally track the user’s viewing habits for statistical purposes. Cookies cannot read any other information on your hard drive.  The Website uses Cookies to collect Visitor Information to deliver targeted content to you and to potentially tailor and enhance your experience on the Website.  If you do not wish to receive Cookies or want to be notified when they are placed, your browser may permit you to do so.

Does Green eMotion Share Information?

Green eMotion does not share, rent, lease or sell Information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

  • Service Providers
    Green eMotion may use third parties to help with certain aspects of its operations, which may require disclosure of your Information.  For example, Green eMotion may use a third party to communicate with you, to host the Website and related databases, and to perform other outsourced work.  Green eMotion requires these third parties to use your Information only as necessary to perform the services they are asked to perform. 
  • Corporate Family
    We may share some or all of your Information with any current or future “Affiliate” (which means a parent company, a subsidiary, joint venture, or other company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Green eMotion).  We will use good faith efforts to ensure that Affiliates use your Information in compliance with this Privacy Policy.  If another company acquires Green eMotion, your Information will be transferred to that company in accordance with the Change of Control section herein.
  • Partners
    Green eMotion may partner with third parties such as advertisers, Affiliates and other potential business partners (“Partners”), which may require disclosure of Visitor Information.  For example, Green eMotion may inform these third parties as to the number of people who have seen and clicked on links to their web sites.   
  • Disclosures Required by Law
    Green eMotion reserves the right to disclose your Information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process, (b) respond to any claims against it, (c) protect the rights, property or personal safety of Green eMotion, its employees, its customers or the public or (d) report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we have a good faith belief are unlawful.  This includes exchanging Information with third parties to protect against fraud protection and to ensure credit risk reduction.
  • Linked Web Sites
    The Green eMotion Website may contain links to other web sites to which we may or may not have any affiliation. Green eMotion is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other web sites. Green eMotion encourages you to review the privacy policies posted on these third-party web sites.

How Does Green eMotion Protect My Information?

Green eMotion takes appropriate measures to protect all Information from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and enable the correct use of Information. Green eMotion utilizes security systems to protect such Information. However, no company can fully eliminate security or other risks associated with the possession of Information, and Green eMotion makes no guarantee against unauthorized access to any Information you provide.

You hereby acknowledge that Green eMotion is not responsible for any intercepted information sent via the internet, and you hereby release us from any and all claims arising out of or related to the use of intercepted information in any unauthorized manner.

Terms and Modifications to this Privacy Policy

Green eMotion may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. We will post a revised version of the Privacy Policy that reflects such changes on the Website along with a notice on the Website that the Privacy Policy has been revised. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of a revised version of the Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of any such changes. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, or any revised versions thereof, you should not use the Website.
