PPC has organised a conference on Green eMotion and the successful implementation of an electromobility system in the replication region Kozani and in Athens.
With a great event in Athens the Green eMotion replication region Kozani started into the electrical driving world.
A keynote by Yiannis Maniatis (Minister of Environment, Energy & Climate Change) demonstrated the big interest of the political sector in the conference and the electromobility topic. The utilities PPC (Public Power Corporation) and HEDNO (Hellenic Distribution Network Operator) were represented by their CEOs.
Green eMotion presented the latest results of the biggest EU funded electromobility project. That covers the big picture of electromobility from implementing a prototype-level, scalable, and open ICT system enabling Europe-wide access to charging infrastructure, to establishing a roadmap for future standardization work. It also produced a set of detailed technical work - from grid impact studies to the evaluation of electric vehicles under real life conditions - and provided a unique platform for partners to continue to engage in other key European co-funded implementation projects.
